Some people are naturally passionate about everything they do. You pick up on it the minute they start speaking and it draws you in. You may be in a meeting and you find yourself drawn to someone’s energy and may seven wonder what it is about them, that makes you like them.
It is difficult to fake passion just like you can’t fake electricity. Because that’s what passion is… it’s energy. It is tangible and contagious. The good news is that you don’t only have to be on the receiving side, but you can also experience the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.
By pursuing and practicing your passions even on the smallest scale, you allow yourself to go deeper into something new. You give yourself up to something that’s bigger than yourself, awaken your senses, stimulate your brain, and make yourself happier. It is true, passionate people are happier people, and people like to be around authentically happy people. So how do you find that energy? Maybe try out these three steps: 1. Listen to yourself - The most important part for me in finding and following my passion is to listen to myself. 2. Start small - You simply have to do what you can with what you have. 3. Don't try to figure it out – Perhaps you first want to get crystal clear on what your passion is. You may want to have it all figured out. But I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to. All you have to do is to notice the positive pulls of life, and take each moment as it comes. And just like 1, 2, 3, you will find yourself growing in your own passion and attracting other passionate people.
